Just had a lovely relaxing weekend in Castleton, the Peak District. Stayed at the Fourseasons Guesthouse, we found our accommodation lovely. Our room was very spacious, warm and clean. Alan was very helpful and welcoming. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
Alan was a wonderful host - polite, friendly and gracious. Everything was incredibly well presented and we felt very well looked after during our stay. Would definitely recommend the Four Seasons to anyone looking for a weekend away in the Peaks!
Room were massive, toilet was one of the biggest I’ve seen. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, free milk and water everyday. Gave us free housekeeping everyday as well. Very good service, even offered us a free lift to Hope station. Will definitely return, highly recommended!
The room was large & spotless Nice coffee & tea making facilities replenished daily. The bed was very large The bathroom was modern & stylish The host Alan was very welcoming & nothing was too much trouble. Ideally situated fror all shops & bars. As my wife & myself have health issues everything was only a short distance.

The rooms were immaculate, showcasing a high standard of cleanliness and care that made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the opportunity to take a quad bike ride—an unexpected but delightful bonus! Exploring the surrounding area on a quad bike was an exhilarating experience that added an extra layer of adventure to our trip. Tomislav was knowledgeable and ensured we had a safe and enjoyable ride. Overall, Four Seasons Guesthouse exceeded all of our expectations. With its spotless rooms, exceptional hospitality, and exciting activities, it’s a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay. We can’t wait to return!
Stayed there for two nights. No complaints at all. Clean spacious rooms. The owners were very friendly and helpful as well.
Very comfortable room. Spacious and plenty of storage. Clean and light with a nice view. Perfect for our short break. Very approachable with plenty of advice and knowledgeable about what to do around the area.
When my other half said she had booked a guest house my heart sank a little. I shouldn't have worried. Lovely comfortable,clean and warm room with a huge bed with tea and coffee machine which was well stocked. Stunning views of Mam Tor .Nice en suite bathroom with a hot powerful shower which was most welcome after a long cold but beautiful walk over the tops. Lots of good places to eat in Castleton and Hope. Would definitely book again and highly recommend
